Sapir Bachar is a jewelry designer living and working between Tel Aviv and New York. By reorganizing and abstracting artifacts from different cultures and eras, shapes, and contexts, the collection collapses the distance between familiarity and new. While working mainly in solid sterling silver, a material used from the bible to modernism, Sapir also experiments with other materials, playing with themes of mysticism and timelessness through the use of gold, semi-precious stones, and leather.
